Health for all NLDM staff, children, and families during the school year
God's direction and wisdom for the Deaf leadership team
as they prepare sermons, lessons, Bible studies for the congregation
His leading within the NLDM Board of Directors:
direction, wisdom, and financial stewardship
Strength and healing for Wendy Lagos (cancer),
a Happy Hands teacher (hearing)
New Board members who are committed to God's direction
and called to serve His kingdom through NLDM
Funds to help with operating expenses and community needs
Employment for many of our Deaf adults and Happy Hands' families
Miriam Lucia, Happy Hands student with family and health issues
Beverly Chesser, a self-supported missionary serving as
Happy Hands Family Coordination; and Helen Carter, missionary serving as administrative assistant
Larry and Aura Rivas, both national missionaries with NLDM
(Larry serves as the Special Projects Assistant and
Aura serves as the 5th grade teacher; both serve in the church)
Melvin Lazo and Manuel Chavez, New Life Deaf Church elders,
for extraordinary wisdom as they preach and lead the Deaf church
Andy and Janie Bugh, North American couple serving in Honduras
as independent missionaries (working mainly with NLDM);
prayer and financial support, adaptation to living in Honduras, and projects.
NLDM's Executive Direcotor, Christy Owen, as she raises her daughter, Lilian, with special needs and a Happy Hands Deaf student who lives with her during the school year (strength, wisdom, and support)
