In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus says, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

NLDM strives to obey this Great Commission through working with Deaf Hondurans.  Its mission is to "tangibly demonstrate the love of Christ and make disciples of Deaf Hondurans, their families, and people who work in the field of deafness through evangelizing, educating, and equipping them to have a greater impact on the Deaf community."

 

People have asked how they can help in our mission of reaching Deaf Hondurans for Christ.  Maybe you are one of those people interested in joining us in fulfilling this mission. 

 

 

PRAY for our ministry.  The children of Happy Hands, the teachers and staff in the ministry, the Deaf Hondurans leading the Deaf church, and families of Deaf children and adults are in need of your prayer support.  You may want to post your prayer support on the Prayer Journal page.

 

DONATE to our operating fund.  NLDM depends largely on the generosity of people like yourself to keep the ministry going.  You may donate on-line, by check, or by electronic funds transfer.  See our Donate Now page for more information.

 

 

SPONSOR a child.  It costs a little over $100 per month to educate a child at Happy Hands.  The Child Sponsorship page can give you more information.

 

Join a MISSION TEAM.  Either your church can form a team, or you can join another team from elsewhere.  Check out the Mission Teams page.

 

Support or hold a FUNDRAISER.  Monies from these events are sometimes designated for specific needs.  Otherwise they are used to help with general operating expenses.  The Events/Fundraisers page provides more information about fundraisers in the U.S. and Honduras.  The Current Events page will list current fundraisers planned.

 

Contribute something on our NEEDS/WISH LIST.  The Needs/Wish List is updated frequently.
